After Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen was injured and could not play in the 2023 AFCON finals, Moffi was brought on as a late substitute.

In 12 games for Nigeria, the 24-year-old has four goals.

After recovering from a muscular injury, Kelechi Iheanacho, a standout for Leicester City, will also go to Abidjan to join the Super Eagles camp.
