The Nigeria Football Federation and Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum appear to have reached an agreement on a new contract after extensive deliberation and bargaining.

The American goalie’s last contract expired following the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand since the parties could not come to an agreement on a new one.

Osasuo Obayiuwana, a Nigerian journalist currently residing in the UK, claims that Waldrum and the NFF President have both signed their respective halves of the agreement.

Waldrum is also expected to rejoin the team in February when the Falcons play the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon in an Olympic qualifying match.
