Moses Simon says Super Eagles are ready to confront the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the AFCON 2023 round of 16.

At the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the three-time African champions will play a Round of 16 match on Saturday against one of their biggest rivals on the continent.

Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan is the designated venue for the meeting.

The Super Eagles are ready for the match, according to Simon.

“We don’t think about history, whatever happened between Nigeria and Cameroon belong to the past,”the Nantes winger told a press conference in Abidjan.

” We are going to approach the game same way, the mindset is to win and move into the next round.

” I have a club mate (Jean-Charles Castelleto), in their team. I know his strength and weakness.

“Our goal is to win the game and the trophy as well.

“We will take it game by game. We are ready for the game and won’t allow them stop us ”
