Egypt will play Congo DR in the Africa Cup of Nations’ fourth round of 16 match on Sunday night at Stade Laurent Pokou.
After this game, the victor advances to the quarterfinals, where they will play Guinea or Equatorial Guinea, who were scheduled to play each other earlier in the day in Abidjan.
The Pharaohs will be confident going into Sunday’s matchup since, in their five Africa Cup of Nations matches against this opponent, they have only lost one, won three, and drawn the other.
Congo DR, on the other hand, had a very similar journey to the round of 16 in the Africa Cup of Nations as Egypt’s, having drawn all three of their round-robin matches and without winning any of their group matches.
Here is how both teams line up
