Mali and Burkina Faso, two countries bordering West Africa, will face each other this evening in a difficult match, in the round of 16 of AFCON 2023.

Which of Mali and Burkina Faso will qualify for the quarter-finals of CAN 2023? We will know at the end of the match between them. The match scheduled for 5 p.m. (GMT) will be played at the Stade Amadou Coulibaly.

This round of 16 of the AFCON 2023 between the two teams should turn slightly to the advantage of Mali. But there is no doubt that Burkina Faso will be keen to rebalance the debates.

According to Sékou Chell, coach of the Eagles of Mali, “playing against a neighboring country is a joy even if we must not forget the qualification objectives.”
