Maduka Okoye, the goalkeeper for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has said that he is prepared to make a return to the national team.
Okoye did not participate in the final African Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast, but he was a member of the Super Eagles squad in the 33rd edition held in Cameroon.
Following a turbulent period with Watford FC of the English Championship, Okoye appears to be yielding positive results since joining Udinese of Serie A in Italy.

In an interview with the club’s media, Okoye acknowledged the challenge of watching the team on TV.
” I’m very well now. I feel 100%,” Okoye told the club’s official website.
” The national team is an important thing for me and I want to return as soon as possible. It was bad watching the Africa Cup of Nations from home, but this is football”.
