River United’s captain, Nyima Nwagua, believes his team has what it takes to win the CAF Confederation Cup this year.
After defeating Dream FC of Ghana 2-1 on Sunday, the Pride of Rivers quickly advanced to the competition’s quarterfinal.
They’ve worked hard to get to the knockout stage, Nyima stated in an interview with the Tori Podcast.

” We have worked hard to get to this point, we will not look down on ourselves.
“We have everything to win the cup”, he said.
The draw for the quarter-final is slated for the 12th of March and Rivers’ opponent could likely be one of Zamalek ( Egypt), USM Algiers ( Algeria) or RS Berkane ( Morocco).
