Ghana Ghana FA To Appoint Addo As New Head Coach

Otto Addo’s reappointment as the head coach of the Black Stars is expected to be announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Footballghana.com indicates that Addo may have received a long-term deal with the GFA based on several sources in the local press.

Having lost all three of their games, the team was eliminated in the group stage.

In March 2024, Addo’s first duty, should he be hired, will be to play an international friendly in Marrakech, Morocco against Uganda and Nigeria.

When the Black Stars defeated the Eagles to earn a spot in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying tournament, he was in command.

Addo managed 12 games during his first tenure as Black Stars coach, with four victories, four ties, and four losses.
