In a thrilling FA Cup match at Molineux Stadium on Saturday, Coventry City shocked Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 with two goals in injury time.
This was the Championship team’s second-ever trip to the semi-finals.
Hugo Bueno gave the home team the lead in the 88th minute, capping Ellis Simms’ first-half goal, and Wolves were destined for a trip to Wembley.

But before teammate Haji Wright scored the game-winning goal in the tenth minute of injury time, curving his effort into the corner to throw the Coventry fans, players, and staff into a frenzy of joy, Simms grabbed a second in the seventh minute of additional time.
With his double, Simms became the first player in Coventry’s 140-year history to score five goals in a single FA Cup campaign since Keith Houchen in 1986–87, when the team won the cup.
Due to injuries, Wolves, who were without Pedro Neto, Hwang Hee-chan, Matheus Cunha, and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, had not posed much of a danger until the 83rd minute, when Ait-Nouri scored after Coventry failed to clear a cross.
Then, five minutes later, Wolves’s advance to the semifinals was all but assured when replacement Bueno scored his first senior goal.
However, Simms managed to secure a point at the distant post to preserve Coventry’s hopes before Wright’s winning goal drove their supporters into a frenzy.
