Egypt national team left Cairo International Airport in a private plane on Sunday morning as they are set to face Togo on Tuesday for the second leg of the 2021 AFCON playoffs.

Egypt won the first leg on Saturday night by 1-0 as Mohamed El-Wensh secured maximum points for the pharaohs.

Egyptian Football Association (EFA) disclosed earlier on Sunday pictures of the players and staff leaving Cairo after having undergone the mandatory Covid-19 tests which all turned negative.

With Mohamed Salah testing positive and having missed the first leg, midfielder Amr El-Sulya will also miss the game in Lome as he was booked in two consecutive games. Against Comoros and Togo yesterday.
