
Nigeria Super Eagles will be missing a key player in their World Cup playoff against Ghana next week as a key player got injured with his club and can’t report to the camp.
Super Eagles have announced on Sunday afternoon that Leicester City defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will not show up for their double encounter against the Black Stars due to injury.
And the 25-year old has been replaced by Innocent Bonke who ply his trade at French Ligue 1 side Lorient FC.

Speaking on Nididi’s injury ahead of Brentford game (2-1 win), Brendan Rodgers said : “We just have to assess. He picked up an injury that might keep him out for a few weeks, which is a shame.”
Nigeria will make a trip to Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium next Friday for the first leg of this mouth-watering Jollof derby before hosting Black Stars back four days later in Abuja.
