An Arsenal star who is linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium has declared that he will not leave the Gunners this summer.

Jorginho joined Arsenal on the deadline day of winter transfer window from Chelsea.

So far, the Italian midfielder has established himself as one of Mikel Arteta’s key players.

However, recent reports claimed Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri wants to sign him for the Serie A side.

A report Jorginho quickly debunked saying he is happy with the Gunners and will continue at the Emirates.

“To be honest, I was surprised but really happy by how welcome I was, how (Arsenal) treated me when I came in”, the 31-year told The Evening Standard.

“It just made everything so much easier for me to know more people to integrate in the team. So it was really, really, really good and I am really, really happy.

“I’m very happy to stay at Arsenal to be honest. Those rumours, I’m not sure who was behind it, to be honest, but nothing at the moment has happened to me. I’m quite happy where I am. That (missing out on the title) was painful.”
