Real Madrid has confirmed that Vinicius Jr. has extended his contract through 2027 with the team.
After reportedly paying 46 million euros ($48.76 million) to join Real from Flamengo in 2018, the 23-year-old has made 235 appearances and scored 62 goals.
“Real Madrid C.F. and Vini Jr have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, linking him to the club until 30 June 2027,” Real said in a statement.
Vinicius Jr. has won nine trophies at Real, including two league crowns, the 2022 Champions League, two FIFA Club World Cup trophies, and the Socrates Award for his humanitarian work, which he received on Monday night at the Ballon d’Or presentation.
