Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Mizo Delighted To Win League Bloggers Award

Robert Mizo, a forward for Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL side, Bayelsa United, has expressed his happiness after winning the League Bloggers Award for September/October Player of the Month.

Since the start of the season, Mizo has been in incredible form for Bayelsa United, netting seven goals in six games.

This season marked the first time the forward from Imiringi in the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State had won the prestigious NPFL trophy.

Mizo won the prize in front of Michael Olalusi of Sunshine Stars, Jonathan Alukwu of Sporting of Lagos, and Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars, who was his closest opponent.

In a video interview with Bayelsa United Media, a jubilant Mizo expressed his humility at winning the League Bloggers Player of the Month award for the first time, calling it a testimonial to his unwavering work ethic.

He gave thanks to the all-powerful God for the honor and expressed gratitude to his teammates, coaching staff, Bayelsa United management, and club supporters for their unwavering support.

On the day he was declared the League Bloggers prize winner, he dedicated the prize to his father, Mr. Aroanyaziba Robert.
