The Super Eagles friendlies game against Burkina Faso, Cape Verde in preparation for the 2023 AFCON have been Cancelled.

Nigeria was scheduled to play both teams in a friendly game to prepare for the tournament which will begin January 13 Ivory Coast.

The reasons for the cancellation of the games have not been disclosed as the Super Eagles will now face Syli National of Guinea.

The game between a scheduled to be played January 8 in Abu Dhabi.

The Super Eagles are currently camping at the Pullman Hotel in the United Arab Emirates in preparation for their AFCON.

The team are expected to depart for Ivory Coast on January 9 .
