Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface confirmed on social media that he will miss 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria due to injury.

This is a major blow for Nigeria five days to the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Boniface who is one of the very best forwards in the world at the moment is ruled out of AFCON 2023.

According to reports, Victor Boniface picked up a groin injury in training with Super Eagles and could not participate in the tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.
