Andriy Shevchenko elected president of the Ukrainian federation

Former AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko is elected head of the Ukrainian football federation, succeeding the very controversial Nikolay Pavlov.

At 47, Andriy Shevchenko takes on new roles. Former coach of Ukraine between 2016 and 2021, but short-lived coach of Genoa during the 2021-2022 season, he now occupies a more senior position.

He has just won the presidential elections of the Ukrainian football federation.

He obtained 93 votes in favor out of 94 delegates.
