Serie A Sarri Steps Down As Lazio Manager After Loss To Udinese

After Lazio’s 2-1 home loss to Udinese on Monday, manager Maurizio Sarri announced his resignation.

TMW claims that following the team’s loss to Udinese yesterday, Sarri did not get the appropriate input from the group.

When Sarri told the team he would be submitting his resignation, their lack of response prompted him to take the extreme measure.

Sarri has made the decision to fight for his departure since the players did not object to his farewell nor did they demand that he stay.

Since taking over the Biancocelesti in the summer of 2021, the 65-year-old has managed 137 games, but his team is currently experiencing a terrible run of results.

Lazio’s season is still alive because they are playing Juventus over two legs in the Italian Cup semifinals.
