Auwal Musa Gotel was named Chairman of Wikki Tourists, a Nigeria National League team, and his appointment has been validated by the Bauchi State government.

Prior to this, Gotel served as the temporary manager of the Bauchi Elephants.

The recently constituted management committee also includes Sadiq Yusuf, Alhassan I. Muhammad, Lawal Garba Dass, Umar Saidu, and Dauda M. Chiroma. As secretary, Sa’adu Chadi will work.

The club received a statement from the state’s governor, Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir Gidado, confirming the appointment.

The declaration affirmed that the selections were made on the basis of qualifications.

Right now, the Wikki Tourists are fighting valiantly to earn a spot in the NNL playoffs.

With 23 points, they are ranked second on the NNL table.
