Amaju Melvin Pinnick , Nigeria Football Federation’s president , announced the renewal of the lease of German coach Gernot Rohr , as head manager of the Super Eagles . Here are some facts which would have convinced the NFF .

Arrived in Nigeria in August 2016 , Gernot Rohr , 66 , is now linked to the Nigerian football squad till December 2022 as Amaju Pinnick wrote it on his Twitter account on this Wednesday May 27 .

“I’m happy to announce that the NFF and Coach Gernot Rohr have concluded all contractual discussions and he will stay on as Coach of the Super Eagles. We have always had confidence in his abilities and we are confident that the national team can only go higher from here” it is written .

This confidence bgiven to Rohr could be the result of former Gabon coach with the Super Eagles . Indeed , since his arrival in Nigeria , the 1953-born managed 49 games and shows excellent statistics .

Rohr won 54% of the 41 games he leaded with a race of 1.49 goal per game, a very huge victory percentage . He won 22 games , made 9 drawn and lost 10 .

With Rohr , Nigeria ended 2019 AFCON at the third place and has played World Cup before , in 2018 .

With regards to all these accomplishments , it can be obviously said that , Gernot Rohr is making good job in the country of Jay- Jay Okocha .
