Senegal coach Aliou Cisse is set to unveil his squad for the World Cup qualifiers on Friday.

Cisse will name the squad ahead of the matches against Togo on November 11 then Congo three days later.

A statement from Senegalese Football Football says Cisse will announce the squad in Dakar.

“The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) informs that the National Coach,  Mr. Aliou CISSE , will meet the press on  Friday November 05, 2021 at 10:00 am at the GOOD RADE restaurant located on the VDN (Dakar),” a statement from Senegal FA secretary general Victor Cisse reads.

“There will be a question of the publication of the list of players selected for the Togo vs Senegal matches  on November 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm (GMT) at the Kégué stadium (Lomé) and Senegal vs Congo on November 14, 2021 at 7:00 pm (GMT) at the stadium. Lat Dior de Thiès counting for the fifth and sixth day of qualifying for the Africa Zone World Cup “Qatar 2022”.

It remains to be seen whether Cisse will in the call-up consider Olympique de Marseille midfielder Pape Gueye who chose to play for Senegal, his parents’ home country.

The Teranga Lions already secured their spot in the last phase of the World Cup qualifiers for Africa.
