FIFA U20 WORLD CUP FIFA U20 WWC: We’re Prepare For Any Opponents-Danjuma

Chris Danjuma, the head coach of the Falconets, claims that his squad is prepared to defeat every opponent at the Costa Rica 2022 U-20 Women’s World Cup.

After placing second twice in the past, the Falconets are aiming to take home the trophy for the first time.

“We are finally here, and we are happy to be here at the FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup is always an interesting experience for the coaches and the players, and I am sure it is the same for other professionals who get to be involved,”Danjuma declared.

“We took a long route to get here, having to play four different teams in the qualifying series.

“I can tell you that we are prepared to do Nigeria and Africa proud.

“It is not about being here to make up the number; it is about being here to make an impact.”

The competition begins on Wednesday, and the Falconets’ first game against France is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Costa Rican time (12 a.m. Nigerian time) on Thursday at the Estadio Nacional in San Jose.

On Sunday, August 14 at 2 p.m. Costa Rica time (9 p.m. Nigeria time), Nigeria will play Korea Republic; on Wednesday, August 17 at 8 p.m. Costa Rica time, it will play Canada (3am Nigeria time on Thursday, 18th August). Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium will serve as the venue for both games.
