Zimbabwe FIFA 2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe Arrive Huye Ahead Of Rwanda Game

The Warriors of Zimbabwe have arrived in Huye, the location of their Match Days One and Two, ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Before the two World Cup qualifying matches, the team led by coach Brito Beltarman arrived in Kigali last weekend at the King Pele Stadium, where they have been training.

The remaining players are anticipated to arrive on Tuesday; only 12 players exercised in the morning before leaving for Huye.

Prior to hosting the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the same location the following week, Zimbabwe will play the Amavubi of Rwanda in the first group match.

Nigeria triumphed 3-0 in Zimbabwe’s World Cup qualifying match against the Super Eagles, which was last held in 2005 in Harare.
