
After leaving the pitch hurt during Cameroon’s victory over Mauritius in their opening Group D match on Saturday, keeper Andre Onana withdrew from the team’s World Cup qualifying match against Libya on Tuesday.
The Cameroon Football Federation said on Sunday that Onana had returned to Manchester United to receive treatment for an undisclosed injury.

With ten minutes remaining in the 3-0 victory over Mauritius in Douala, he appeared to be having trouble with his adductors, but the federation provided no information regarding the nature of his injury.
Onana’s decision to leave the game was reportedly made as a precaution, and he should be fit to play for Manchester United against Everton on Sunday.
