Nigeria’s U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying Flamingoes departed the country on Thursday morning to play in Douala, Cameroon, ahead of the opening leg of the match.
In the most recent World Cup, the Nigerian team, led by coach Bankole Olowokeere, performed admirably.
The Central African Republic squad and the Nigerian team were matched for the qualifier, with the first leg taking place outside of the country.

The match has been set for Douala, Cameroon, with the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja hosting the rematch.
