Haaland is regarded as one of the very best players in the world at the moment if not the best.

The 23-year old who won the treble with Manchester City on his first season in England ended at the second position in Ballon d’or 2023 ranking behind Lionel Messi.

Many believed he was robbed as he deserved the top award but Erling Haaland still has a high admiration for the Inter Miami skipper and even sees him as the best ever to have graced the game.

“Couldn’t have really gone any better for you in your first year here. And yet you missed out to Messi on the two big individual prizes. For you to actually win those, does he have to retire?”, the Norwegian was asked.
