Premier League Manchester United confirm agreement with Ajax for Antony deal

Manchester United have confirmed an agreement with Ajax Amsterdam for the signing of Brazilian striker Antony.

The 22-year old has been one of the requests of Man United manager Erik ten Hag since his appointment in replacement of German coach Ralf Rangnick.

And the Dutchman got what he wanted as the Red Devils confirmed an agreement with Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam for the signing of his former player.

“Manchester United has reached agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Antony, subject to a medical, player terms being finalised, and international clearance”, a statement on the club’s website reads.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Antony will sign a five-year deal with the Red Devils which will see him wearing their shirt until June 2027 with an option to extend it for a further year.

The deal costed Manchester United €95m with €5m of add-ons.
