Europe WATCH: Ronaldo scores stunner as Portugal defeat Liechtenstein

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a world record-extending 128th international goal for Portugal as they beat minnows Liechtenstein in Euro 2024 qualifying.

The hosts kept Portugal, who have already booked their place in Germany, at bay in the first half in Vaduz. But Al-Nassr’s Ronaldo, 38, hit the post and then smashed home from Diogo Jota’s through ball in the first minute of the second period.
